Athea Caspe is the Community Health Nurse who visits our school.
Community Health Nurses work in schools to promote healthy development and wellbeing so students may reach their full potential. A major part of the work of a Community Health Nurse within a school is to focus on early intervention and the School Entry Health Assessment Program. Community Health Nurses serve as a health contact point for children and their families providing information, assessments, health counselling and referral.
The services provided are free and confidential.
If there are any Pre-Primary or Year 1 students who have missed out on having their School Entry Health Assessment in Kindergarten, please pick up a Health Assessment form from the school front office, fill it out and return it to the office. The Community Health Nurse will attend to the assessment when she screens the Kindergarten students.
If you have any concerns about your child's health or development, please contact Athea on 6332 0100.
